He also grabbed his flint stone and some brush he'd needed to start the fire. He held that all in one arm and grabbed the food and water bags with his free hand and looked around the room to see if he was forgetting something. There was a pile of sand in the middle of the room, shredded jeans next to it, a trail of blood leading every which way, paw prints tracking it everywhere and bones scattered on the floor. If he remembered something he'd go retrieve it. He carried the things down to the remodeled den. He then remembered his knife was up there. He needed to go hunting anyways... and the deer should be... taken care of. He had a feeling Ran and Ulf wouldn't mind helping with that.
He looked at her as she was straightening the bed up. "I'm going to go hunting again and check my snares. You want to come or are you good here?" he asked. She could be either handy or slow him down, either way the rabbit from earlier would keep for a while and the berries were still good, they'd need more water for sure and... Thor had to relieve himself. Which reminded him, he still had no pants on.

"I'm going anywhere until you answer." she smiled at him, licking her lips. "But I'll come as long as we can find somewhere that I can rinse my hair. It's.. nasty." As she had been setting up the bed. she ran her hand through her hair and felt caked blood in it. that was not okay. She stood up, placing her hand on his shoulder, "So let's go." She walked up the stairs, looking back to make sure he was following her up the stairs. After she got up the stairs she climbed out of the opening and hopped down on the dumpster. She spotted a river not too far away and turned back to Thor, "You can come or not, you know to protect me."
she smirked at him before climbing off of the dumpster and headed towards the river. It didn't take long for her to find the river that she had spotted. Thank God. Her skin felt disgusting, her hair felt like it hadn't been rinsed in a year. Shampoo had run out pretty quickly after the bombing but rinsing her hair did some good. she removed her clothes, setting them down on the ground. She climbed into the cold water of the small river, dunking her head under the water. She rubbed her hair with her hands until it felt clean-ish again, doing the same with her skin though she didn't get out yet. The water was cool against her skin but the sun was still out and that had warmed the water a little bit.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=style,background-image: url('http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x291/Foxpelt/run%20away%20dear/thorbg.png');,true][cs=2] I DON'T UNDERSTAND | [atrb=width,270] He watched her go and he smiled. He disappeared for a second or two, knowing just what she'd want. When he returned he had a handful of lavender and a handful of rosemary. He placed them on the ground while he stripped off the pants and dashed into the water after her. He paused, dumbfounded by her beauty. His heart skipped a beat and he felt the sun burn his eyes, or was that just her beauty. He only paused a second before he was after her faster than before. He caught up to her, holding her in his arms and kissing her suddenly. He couldn't help it, hell, he honestly didn't know what had come over him. Why he suddenly had her against his body, why he couldn't stop kissing her sweet lips. She tasted like flowers and summertime and something... explosive, like a wildfire spreading threw his body and reaching right into his soul.
When he broke the kiss he was short of breath and his eyes were bright, "I believe that should be a good enough answer," he said with a smirk. But he suddenly turned away, and not because of... well physical things, but because he was suddenly nervous. He wasn't, or he hadn't been, the best kisser, but the bombings changed people, but he doubted this would change. Shelby had always said he needed more tongue and he was too slow and he never relaxed. Well he seemed pretty relaxed a minute ago, and well, too early for tongue, he scrunched his nose in the weirdness. He hoped she wasn't angry with him. Whoa. Since when did her opinion matter that much?
"Come on, fallegur(Fah-ley-goo), I have a gift for you," he said, walking back to the bank side of the river, he dunked under before he got there, just so he could rinse the blood off his neck and clean his wounds. He shook the water from his longish hair, it was getting longer, he should cut it soon. He walked back to the bank, wading threw the water. It dripped off his back, onto his scars and down to his legs. He laid out in the sun, staring at his scars quietly. He barely even remembered that day, but the scars made him remember, just as Mary had taught him to remember.
He grabbed the handfuls of Rosemary and lavender and handed them over, "Thought you might like these. I'll rub them on me when it gets particularly cold and I can't get a wash in. Or if I'm hunting and my scent is too strong." He smiled quietly and looked at her clothes. "You might want some new clothes," he said wanly. He didn't care, he wasn't much of a clothes wearer as it was. He lay down in the dirt and got himself good and dirty before he went running into the water. He turned into a mallard duck and began to clean himself and dip under the water, spreading the beads across his feathers where he cleaned them with careful tuckings of his beak. He then dove under water completely, swimming around searching for some fish. He found a big cat fish, shifted into his human form and grabbed the slimy thing. He tossed it on the bank and went running after it. They were known for wiggling back into the river. He grabbed a rock and looked at Anna. He grimaced and waited for her to look away before he killed the fish. He left it to sit out in the dirt, he'd clean it before they went into the den. He pulled up some tubers too while he was at it and tossed them by the fish. He should look for some more fish, it was really healthy and almost a rarity around here.
He swam around but found nothing but some more tubers, which he pulled up and placed with the others. He got out of the water and grabbed a thick straw of some sort of water plant, it was wide and thick and it was sticky when he broke it off the stem. He grabbed two rocks and sat down next to Anna. He began to smash away at the long leaf. To anyone he might have looked to be insane, but he was smart and he knew what he was doing. He smashed and smashed and smashed until he exposed an almost thread like quality to the plant. He dipped it in the water to clean it off, green coloring melting into the river water. He continued until he was satisfied with the the texture. He then split it in half, stepped on one end and began twisting each end and then twisting the ends around each other, making almost a rope. He was definitely deep in his work, and while he worked and seemed content, birds fluttered down under his safety and began to splash and get clean in the water. They seemed to accept Anna know as a part of Thor. A few minutes later and he'd created the rope. He tied the one end firmly and then pinched the end he'd been stepping on and turned it around. He wove it into the other side and then knotted it as well. He grabbed some lavender stems and wove them into the bracelet, adding a cleaner scent and held it up for Anna's inspection. "Here you are, you're own personal Bracelet!" He smiled and handed it over to her with delicate fingers. The rope would last for years, but the meaning... he hoped would last longer. He watched the birds and he played a little warble, one of the birds turned and hopped closer, tilting it's head at him. He warbled again and it tweeted and fluttered off, taking with the wind.
He yawned and smiled into the brightness of the sun. It was afternoon already, and soon it would be night. He should go kill something, he half thought. But he didn't want to leave this perfect moment. Ran and Ulf bounded over, covered in mud and red blood. They found the deer he took it. Thor didn't trust the meat, it had been sitting since morning and anything after 2 hours was unsafe in his book, especially without knowing what diseases the animal might have had, though he looked healthy. Thor grabbed Ulf and Ran barked at them as Thor carried Ulf into the water and dunked the poor dog. He doggie paddled his way out and looked like a hopeless wreck. Ran went running in, enjoying the water. He scrubbed her clean of the blood and then walked out of the water. She shook the water and ran after Ulf, who was sulking on a rocky patch, still soaked.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: 363636; width: 370px; padding-top: 30; padding-bottom: 30;]wretched, look at me, i've lost it melting on the table, in parking lots and markets. She smiled as she watched him dive into the river. When he moved towards her, she let her eyes wander over his body. She gasped lightly when he pulled her into his arms and kissed her. She kissed him back, letting her hands come to a rest on his arms. The kiss shouldn't have been anything special but it was. Every place that his lips had touched hers burnt like someone had branded them. When he broke apart from the kiss, she couldn't help but feel a little sad. though his next words brought a smile to her face. She nodded, "Good enough for me." She ran a hand through her wet hair when he turned away. Why had he turned away? Maybe she had done something wrong. She had always believed herself to be a decent kisser though maybe he didn't like it.. She shook the thought from her head. It seemed like he liked it so she wasn't going to worry herself.
"Oh a gift?" She smiled at him, following him to the bank. She climbed out, letting the sun dry her for a few minutes before pulling her clothes back on. "Yeah... I've had these for awhile." She sat down on the ground, watching as he turned into a duck. The more and more that she saw him turn, the more she enjoyed it. It was fun to watch all the different animals that he could turn into. She pulled her long hair over one shoulder, squeezing water out of her hair onto the ground. "What are you doing?" She leaned towards him, watching as he beat the leaf. She sat there and watched as he worked on whatever he was making. It wasn't very long before he handed her the bracelet and she smiled. She took it from his hand and slipped it over her hand. "Thank you." she smiled at him before leaning over and placing her lips on his for a second.
Right after the two wolfs ran over and she smiled, "I like your pets." she leaned back on the ground as he washed the animals, lifting the arm that she had the bracelet to look at it. She sat up to see that he was done and smiled towards him. Not exactly at him, just more at the thought of him. Who would have thought her almost dying would result in meeting Thor? At least something good came from something so terrible.
